In Windows Live Messenger, can I get it to show my music playing from iTunes instead of Media player

Is there any way to get live messenger to show the music I'm playing in iTunes instead of media player because half my music is in .m4a format for iTunes, so i can't play those songs in media player (at least, I can't edit the info on them).

Yes you can, simply select the option that shows it from your Windows Media Player and if you have your iTunes open and it is set to your default media player and not WMP open then it will select the music titles from that, no problem. It works with both programs and as far as I know it may work for more players (Realplayer, VLC Player etc.)

To set it to your default media player:

Control Panel %26gt; Add or Remove Programs %26gt; On the left panel choose "Set Program Access and Defaults %26gt; And choose custom and you will have various options.

You have to set iTunes as your default music player.
