i have a new laptop aspire 3690 with Vista basic thanks for a solution Ive contacted Microsoft live messenger support and they are useless they dont answer questions they make statements like this is the reason that you must switch from 7.0 to 8.1. But you idiots I need to know why it wont open. Bill Gates where are you when we need you. Thanks Mickey

Put simply, windows live messenger SUCKS...Bill Gates is GREAT, Microsoft is AWESOME, Windows live search is even BETTER! But the messenger is just....well...lacking in EVERYWAY
