Problem with windows live messenger , windows cannot find loader.exe.?

the messenger opens up but after awhile it freezes , Is been happening for a week :S

what should I do ???

there's a virus named loader.exe, so you should take care of it, Virus Loader.EXE also can change your web home page.

If there's virus on your computer, do as the following:

1.Restart computer, Press F8 to enter Safe mode, clear the files in the temp folder:

i.C:\Wihdows\Temp

ii.C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Local Settings\Temp

(user name is various in different computer)

iii.(IE7)right click on Internet Explorer, chose properties/General/Browsing history/Delete/Delete All

iv. restart computer normally

2.Clean the virus using some anti-virus software, then restart computer normally again.

remove the program with add remove programs then use the search box in your start menu to search for msn messenger in all files and folders. right click on anything it finds and select open containing folder, when it opens then just drag the highlighted file to the recycle bin.

repeat ths with all found files until you have been through them all.

Just make sure the file contains the word messenger in it otherwise don't delete.

after you get rid of the lot restart, then re-download and install messenger.

You should have no problems if you are thorough..
Mine's been doing that too.
