Everytime I try to sign into MSN Live Messenger, it says that service is temporarily unavailable.. but this has been going on for about 3 months now! how can i fix it? (error number: 80040154)

go to msn.com and click on Contact Us and tell them about it. i know, it says it's Windows Live Messenger, but it's a service from msn so they should be able to help you. if that doesn't work, then you might need to uninstall and then reinstall it. if THAT doesn't work, then do System Restore back to 3 months when it DID work. hope i helped!

There have been loads of bugs reported for this new live messenger i have had that numerous times i also get my firewall going crazy and it stops me from accessing anything else on the internet and just freezes up for about 15 seconds whilst im typing away in the messenger.
Its full of bugs and microsoft need to get it fixed and fast, best thing to do is just try go back to the older version until this one is more stable.
