How do you keep your display name to stay the same on Windows Live Messenger?

I have been trying to change my display name on Windows Live Messenger, I have managed but everytime I sign out and then sign back in, it goes back to the default one. Please help.

Click on your name,go to the bottom...personal settings,change your name,then go to the bottom and click OK,if you dont click OK it wont stay there.

Contact MSN tech support as this shouldn't happen. All i can suggest is un-installing it and getting MSN 7.5
